Super Bowl Commercial

The super bowl is known for not only the game but the funny and entertaining commercials. As years have gone on the price for one of these infamous commercials has risen exponentially. Now just for a 30 second commercial it can cost about well over 3 million dollars.
This year I was impressed with some of the commercials and was very disappointed in others. The commercial that really caught my eye this year was the Budweiser commercial. The reason that I chose this commercial is because it was more of a meaningful commercial rather than a party or other things that Budweiser has used for past commercials.

In this commercial, they show the love and care between man and his animal. The message was not to buy beer and party but the message was that if you push your self and have someone to help push you and motivate you anything is possible. It show the relationship that can be developed with their animals.
The consumer market was animal lovers and to catch everyones attention. When watching the commercial you would not think that it would be for Budweiser the beer but for something else. The meaning behind the message was to target all consumers by not showing how much fun you would have drinking the beer but showing how hard the horses work to walk the carriage of the beer and how hard the people work to make it possible for the horse to put in this honor. I think that the ad was effective because it was the most memorable for me and its something that can be played over and over again. The ad presented their name of their brand at the end when the horse carried the cart in a parade. This is an ad was designed to be played even after playing during the Super Bowl.

When going through some of the past commercials done by Budweiser, I found this one from the super bowl in 2008. These both are very similar they are practically the same. The difference is that in 2013 they used the man and 2008 they used the dog. They both have the same message and meaning. They both are great commercials and are worth the amount that they were paid.
