Carter Moots Superbowl Commercial



               I decided to do this e-trade commerical because these commercials are my favoirte and i feel that they stick out the most to its viewers and they really do a great job on getting their message across.  This company is a company that lets you buy, sell and trade stock online, in a very simple way.  The basic message that i get when i watch this commercial is that if a baby can do this and make money, then anyone can make money doing this.
                  The consumer needs that were identified was number one the need for money.  Who dosen't want to make money these days, and when they see a 2 year old on tv doing it, it will make them try it out as well.  The largest market that this ad appeals to is the older men aging from 16-100.  The charecterists that this commerical captures are comical, serious, and entertaining.  The reason the advertiser chose this group of people is because these people are who do the most stock trading and who have the money to do so.  Most men watch the superbowl so this was a perfect scenario for them to take advantage of.
                This advertisement is very affective and getting customers to purchase their product.  They really get their point acrross to their target customers which is exactly what they want to do.  The ad did not present a call to action even though i believe they should have one.
