Oreo Superbowl Commercial

  My favorite commercial from Superbowl XLVII was the Oreo commercial. This add shows two people in a library quietly arguing which part of the oreo is most favorable. Fighting between the cream filling and the outer cookie of the oreo itself, everyone in the commercial comically remains quite because after all it is a library. The Oreo cookie from the company Nabisco has been voted americas favorite cookie for generations. The message of the commercial was pretty much to flaunt how delectable Oreos are because about half way through the commercial. theres a huge scene in the library and other people got involved in the argument. This shows how much everyone loves Oreos. Considering the product has been around for a while, the target audience seems to appeal to everyone of all ages. For example In the commercial, two younger men start the argument, shortly after the librarian, the firefighters and even the cops join in on it as well. This shows that no matter what profession you are or from what class you are the Oreo remains a popular snack. The commercial definitely has successfully targeted

their consumers. The whole keep quiet in the library thing is  very cliche and is a well known fact by americans that a library must remain silent. That being said, it is safe to say that it definitely caught the attention of their targeted audience. What I really liked about the ad was that it was very humorous. What I didn't like about the ad was that there weren't any children in it.
