Josh Foote

Hi, I am Josh Foote. I am from Weymouth, Mass. I am a sports management major and my dream job is either to own my own sporting goods store or to be a professional baseball coach. I have dreamed about a having a sports job since the age of seven. I remember telling my parents after one of my baseball games that I wanted to be a coach. Then during high school I decided if I wasn’t able to get a coaching job, I would own a sorting goods store that would sell baseball, football, basketball and softball equipment and clothing. If I was to own a sporting goods store I would either want to in Boston or in Florida. I would want to own a sporting goods store because I have always loved sports from a young age and I want continue to work with sports things instead of going to a job I hate every day. And if I were to become a baseball coach it would either be for the Boston Red Sox or New York Yankees as a bullpen coach. I'd like to be a coach with either one of those teams because they are a couple of the biggest and most storied franchises in baseball. I would want to be a bullpen coach because I love to work one on one with players to make a change in their mechanics or to give them pointers on how to be the best pitcher they can be. The possibility of working in the MLB would be the best possible thing for me and will always be the number one option. If I had to I would work my way to the job no matter how long it would take.

The young entrepreneurs that I admire the most are Bryan Young, Brandon Blair, and Matthew Laster. I admire them because they all came from the same school and one of them dropped out. Its impressive to me that they were able to stick together after school and do something they really wanted to do. Another reason why I admire them is that they went away from something they did not like to something they did.
