Anthony Wilga's Blog #1

My name is Anthony Wilga.  I have lived in Dudley Massachusetts my entire life in the same house.  Ever since I was born I have been into sports.  I like football, baseball, and basketball.  My favorite out of the three definitely would have to be football.  I started playing when I was 6.  When I got to High School at Shepherd Hill Regional High School I was pulled up to varsity my freshman year to play football.  My junior and senior year I was named Massachusetts All-Star.  My senior year I was named to the Shriner's All Star game.  On my free time I like to go fishing or bowling. My first job was working at PoolsCues and Spas Too in Auburn, Ma.  It is a pool store and it was a lot of hard work of carrying heavy loads of chemicals and supplies.  My new job is working at Primerica Financial Services.  It has to do with Life Insurance and investing people's money.  It took me 5 times to pass the Life Insurance test, but I finally did it.  I am really looking forward to making some good money with this business.   I am currently a freshman at Nichols College where I am majoring in Accounting.   My future job I would like to be a Regional Vice President in Primerica.  Over my 4 months of working for Primerica I have met people who earn over 1 million dollars and people who just really gained my respect.  One of my favorite people there is Richard Falcone.  On my second month working there he took me to a Patriots game where we had great seats.  Richard makes over 1.5 million dollars a year and he is just a normal person like me.  Every rich person I have met never had interest to talk to me, but Richard reached out to me and took me under his wing.  Some people in power tell me if I do this right I could be retired by the time I’m 35!  The first innovators I really admire are Ben Silbermann and Evan Sharp.  These two men created Pinterest.  Pinterest is valued at 1.5 billion dollars!  I really admire these two guys because at first their idea of Pinterest didn’t really succeed, but they didn’t quit.  They put their heads together and made Pinterest more popular than Facebook with just a few minor changes.  My second innovator that I really admire is Daniel Ek.  Dan created the app called Spotify where people are able to download music for a small payment of $5 a month.  What Dan did to really make me admire him is that when he was 14, he taught himself how to do the codes on the computer!  Dan is expecting Spotify to surpass iTunes in value these next upcoming years.
